Mr. Ng was born and brought up in Hong Kong. He studied at La Salle College and graduated from the University of Hong Kong. Having practised as a Barrister in Hong Kong for more than 10 years, Mr. Ng has acquired extensive experience in civil litigation on real estate, banking and commercial disputes. Mr. Ng is also qualified as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.

    Since 1995, Mr. Ng has been practising as a Barrister, Solicitor, Notary Public in Ontario and is a partner of Metcalfe, Blainey & Burns. Mr. Ng is dedicated to providing quality and personal legal service at good value to clients. With his wide range of areas of practice, experience and his detail-oriented approach, Mr. Ng has been able to offer a one-stop legal service for his clients. Mr. Ng's areas of practice include:-

    Estate Planning, Administration, Trust and Wills: significant experience and expertise in estate planning, preparation of wills, trust deeds (family or offshore) and powers of attorney. Advising and acting for executors and trustees; court applications for estate related matters, administering estate including one single estate of over C$2 million.

    Real Estate: extensive experience in real estate sale/purchase and leasing transactions on houses, condominiums, office and industrial buildings, plazas, land and farms. Acting for landlord of commercial plazas and condominiums in managing and administering leases, consent to assignment etc. Good exposure in handling high volume purchase transactions of housing projects and million-dollar homes.

    Corporate Commercial and Franchise: corporate reorganization, amalgamation and acquisition of companies; acting as corporate counsel to established clients; assisting clients on trademark and patent applications; excellent knowledge in franchising having acted for both franchisors and franchisees; proficient in preparation of franchise and other commercial documents such as distribution, agency, confidentiality agreements.

    Civil Dispute & Litigation: having over 15 years of experience in civil dispute and litigation; advising clients on potential litigation matters and resolving them; acting for client as plaintiff or defendant to actions including on real estate, landlord & tenant, commercial banking and contract disputes.

    Mr. Ng has given numerous seminars and talks on Business law, Estate Planning and Real Estate matters including at Seneca College, public forums as well as contributing articles from time to time. Mr. Ng has also volunteered his services to not-for-profit corporations including acting as honorary legal advisor. Mr. Ng is fluent in Cantonese and English.
