Ms. Karen Poon joined Metcalfe, Blainey & Burns LLP in January 2009

    Ms. Poon graduated with distinction from the Honours Business Administration program at the Richard Ivey School of Business of the University of Western Ontario in 2003. She worked as a market analyst before obtaining her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ottawa in 2007. Ms. Poon worked at Cheadles LLP, a full service law firm, prior to her current position. She was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in Ontario in 2008.

    Ms. Poon has worked on a wide variety of cases dealing with corporate, commercial, real estate, estate litigation, employment and labour, family and criminal law. She also has a keen interest in legal research.

    Ms. Poon is fluent in English, Cantonese and Japanese.
